This morning, I learned that Dr. Gayol accepted my contract and now it is time to move forward. Because I am such a perfectionist, my concern is that I may be doing too much for the applied component of this KA, but I am also a knowledge-hound in my belief that theory MUST be accompanied with practice! As I sit in my Board meeting, listening to the droning of my Institutional Advancement colleague, I am trying to determine how to craft my overview...of which I would like to have the first draft completed within the next week. Dr. Gayol's usage of this medium is a true indicator of Fielding's commitment to technology integration. I only hope that our other "institutions" follow suit. Finally, while I have been in the field of Information Systems and leadership for over 15 years, I must remember to keep an open mind and learn something "new."
